Fate had Russel and Christina destined to be together when they were set up as Uni practical partners because, “both of our last names end with ‘P!’ We were friends for 3 years and in the last year of graduating we decided to try dating.”
Russel and Christina enjoy to spend their time going to the markets, movies, parks and cooking, and they knew they were the one for each other when they realised that while they were together, they felt ‘complete’. Russel has learned the difference between Christina’s normal voice, and her “lovey dovey voice when she wants something – usually chocolate!” Christina says, “Russ often talks absolute nonsense in his sleep, but when you listen to him he sounds so convincing!”
From partners at an Adelaide University to partners for life, Russel and Christina are now engaged after he nervously popped the question to his speechless bride-to-be. “Russ took me out to dinner, and then we headed to the beach…I knew something was up as he looked extremely nervous and was lost in thought. There were so many people that day, as it was Christmas Eve, so we headed back home. On the way home, he stopped by the river and proposed on the footbridge. I thought I would know what to say but when he got down on one knee, I was literally lost for words!”
Russ loves Christina’s “thousand watt smile” which we were able to capture in their Adelaide engagement photography session.
