On their 4th anniversary, Cameron told his bride-to-be that he wanted to propose, but had no idea what ring to get because of the couples different tastes! So Paige went to work doing her research and 5 months later they found themselves together at Bell and Brunt ordering their perfect ring.
“Cam picked it up 4 weeks later and proposed during one of our walks with the puppies along the river. We sat on a little deck on the water. We were surrounded by ducks and the dogs kept trying to jump in the water to get them – one of them is really overweight and can’t swim!”
The river that was the scene for their proposal was also the location of their engagement photos. Their beloved canine’s also came along for the shoot having played their own part in the special moment!
Cam and Paige really wanted their fun loving side to show in their engagement photos – not hard given the thing they both love most about each other is their sense of humour! “Cam sings like a high pitched old lady – it is really very bad! He calls me his little old lady as I am constantly in my PJ’s and I enjoy sewing and reading!”
They currently make sure they go on a different date night once a month, bowling, movies, and a shooting range is on the cards one day. Walking along the river with the puppies or just sharing a beer or two after work is the way they like to share their time together, and in the future, they just want to look back at this moment now, as they build their lives together as a young couple.
