Jess and Mark knew it was love at first sight when they met at a house party at aged 14 and 16. It is Mark’s sense of humour and Jess’s kindness that has taken them from childhood sweethearts to husband and wife. And Mark’s sense of humour was also what kept Jess none the wiser about their impending engagement! ‘Mark proposed on my birthday; I didn’t see it coming because he had tricked me into thinking he couldn’t afford a ring!’
After being together for so long, how would they describe their relationship in a single word? ‘Bliss! We just love being together and playing with our little Jacob.’
Jess and Mark were married at their favourite local winery, Anderson Hill, on the 2nd of November. Their special wedding day was rustic themed, and was a casual and relaxed affair.
Jess’s beautiful wedding dress was from Grace Loves Lace, and she was attended by maid of honour Melissa Zimmermann and Bridesmaids Kathleen Banas and Claudia Zimmerman. Mark’s Best Man Michael Ribbins was joined by groomsmen Blagoja Maslarov and Stefan Zimmermann. But the real star of the bridal party was Jess and Mark’s son, Jacob who was the gorgeous pageboy.
The couple personliased their wedding with little craft projects and their own music playlist, making sure their rustic themed wedding was truly reflective of them. It was a day full of love and happiness, which was only increased when the couple shared their happy news during the ceremony….they are pregnant with number 2!
