We don’t share a wedding on the blog until the bride and groom have their lovely package of their photos, albums and prints. That way they can enjoy reminiscing about their day privately, before we celebrate it as an audience! Typically, this also means that we don’t share it with magazines either until this point also, but this was one wedding we couldn’t keep under our hats, and soon after Melissa and Aaron viewed their online gallery we had to share this with the awesome people at Barossa Bride. Of course they chose it to feature in April edition so we have kept their wedding images under wraps until this was on the shelves in the newsagencies.
Melissa and Aaron are pretty special; inside and out they are beautiful people with big hearts, and because of this, when they inquired with their wedding date I just had to capture their wedding day so I chose to take on January weddings instead of going to the Australian Open! (For people who know me, this is a big deal, and I wouldnt have had it any other way! The Australian Open will be there next year, but you only get married once!!). Their wedding in the Barossa was stunning, and there were so many stunning images. So it is little wonder that Barossa Brides magazine has a gigantic spread of this real wedding in their latest issue!
We loved every detail of this wedding, from the lace open back dress, to the bright red lips, to the sweetest flowergirl and cutest pageboy you have ever seen – there was nothing we didn’t love. Magazines love lots of details for their real wedding features, and I think it was even hard for the Barossa Bride magazine team to cut down their shortlist of photos for this feature. We can’t wait to share this one with you in full.
