First things first – when you see the engagement ring that Garret bought Kim, you can understand why I wanted to steal it, not just take photos of it! The stunning ring (featuring my favourite colour) was designed by Garret himself with the team from Bell and Brunt for the woman he had always known was the one he wanted to spend the rest of his life with.
I spent a lovely afternoon with them for their engagement shoot in Adelaide recently. In a step away from my usual casual outdoor engagement sessions, the couple looked gorgeous in sexy but formal outfits for their photographs at the very exclusive Thorngrove Manor, a small luxury hotel in the Adelaide Hills.
It was the same place that Garret proposed to Kim on their 6 year anniversary. Garret had planned a romantic night and got down on bended knee on the balcony of the unique romantic location, so it was special to go back to the exclusive hotel for their engagement photos.
Kim and Garret enjoy spending time with friends and family, and playing board games together. It is easy to see the love in their eyes, and they themselves say they are “the centre of each others worlds”. Beautiful ring, beautiful setting, beautiful people….and a beautiful engagement photography session. What more could I want!
