Laura + Aarons Wedding Day

Laura + Aarons wedding day in the Barossa at a winery, “Murray St Vineyard” was such a fabulous day. It included the top 5 things I love most about weddings.

Firstly, a couple that is super happy, relaxed and in love. Secondly, they wanted to have a first look, these moments are just so special for the couple, sharing the first moment they see each other alone. Thirdly, having a first look means we have so much more time to be relaxed and capture a whole lot more bridal party photos and romantic portraits. Fourth, they wanted a second shooter which give so much more diversity and number of photos to their gallery, it is also like added insurance that nothing is missed and gives us more time to be creative. Finally, a couple who loves creative/artistic photos and trusts to capture their day and allows me to play after dark.

All in all, perfect wedding day, doesn’t matter that the wind was blowing or that the sun was super bright.

Laura and Aaron’s love and bond for each other is so strong and beautiful.

During their ceremony they had a warming of their wedding bands, where each member of the wedding was to hold the rings, make a wish for the couple.

Laura and Aaron, your first dance was so flippin amaze! It wasn’t at all what I had expected, and I loved that as soon as Nutbush came on everyone got up and joined in! Loved it!

I asked Laura:
Tell me how you first met? Who, what, where, when, why? Give me all the details!
“ We first met at a Swim School we attended as teenagers. After leaving the school we reconnected on Facebook in 2009 and quickly became firm friends, hanging out every weekend together, which developed into dating!”

Tell me about the proposal? (Did you see it coming, how long was it in the planning? How did you feel? -This is a great one to answer from both perspectives!)
“We were always very serious about our relationship and realised we want the same things in life. We always talked about a future together. It was so easy for us to go from dating to living together! I had assumed it would happen eventually, but had no idea it was coming so soon! I was very surprised when Aaron got down on one knee on the beach at Black Point, where we were holidaying with my family for my 22nd birthday! I had absolutely no idea what he had been planning, although everyone else from our families knew, even my best friend (and maid of honour) who Aaron had taken ring shopping 4 months earlier! I was shocked they had all kept such a big secret from me but couldn’t have been more over the moon, Aaron was so nervous but of course I said yes!”

I am so sorry I didn’t get to meet “Hudson” on your wedding day, however I wish you both (oh and Hudson) all the very best for a healthy and happy life together, I hope you are having a super relaxing time on your honeymoon.
