A quiet night at the footy turned into a big night at the Highway Hotel for Josh, and an ever after romance for he and Skye. They spent hours talking during the night, but not too much of it dancing. “When she asked me to dance, I thought I can’t dance, so I said ‘I’ll go and buy us a few drinks’. I didn’t return to the dance floor as I really would have been an embarrassment trying to dance!”
They caught each other again at the end of the night, and Sunday, spent the day watching Home and Away catch ups! Josh didn’t think Skye would want to see him again, she lived a good hour away from his place in Adelaide, but when she contacted him again the next day, they met up again and haven’t been apart since!
“Josh caught my eye right from the start. He was fun, out going, kind and caring. I knew I wanted to spend the rest of my life with Josh very early in our relationship. The love we had for each other blossomed every day, he was everything I ever wanted in a man.”
“I knew Skye was the one straight away. We got along really well, she is caring, loving, she is perfect.’
Josh and Skye have a beautiful little girl together, and cemented their love for each other when Josh proposed. “There was no fuss, nothing special, not over the top. I like to keep things low key and not draw much attention, so I got down on one knee, gave her the box and said “will you marry me”, luckily she said yes!”
On the day of their engagement photo shoot, I was a bit worried about the weather….it was hot and ‘blowing it’s guts out’ as they say! Thankfully the wind passed and it turned into a gorgeous day where we were able to capture beautiful beach photos at sunset for their engagement photos. The flies however, not so gorgeous. What is with them this year!!
I had a great time with Skye and Josh; their love is undeniable so I am really looking forward to doing their wedding photography. When the love runs that deep it comes so naturally for their wedding photos – but it always helps to have an engagement photo shoot for practice! “We cannot wait to share our day with amazing family and friends. It will be great to see all of the hard work we have put into planning our special day pay off.”
