It only took a single meeting, and since then, Josh and Georgina have been basically inseparable. Despite starting their family with beautiful daughter Summer, Georgina never saw the engagement coming.
“He did it on my birthday. He cooked dinner (and dessert!) and had flowers and candles on the table and music playing. It was very unlike Josh, the most romantic thing he had ever done, and I kept commenting that he’d really outdone himself, but I still had no idea what was going on!”
Josh had been planning the engagement for a week or so and Georgina dismissed thoughts that he might propose that night, even though he was acting strange – that was until he got down on a single knee after dessert.
“I said yes! He was pretty nervous, and he was acting that way, even though he was sure I was going to say yes! I was very excited and shocked.”

“I wanted to have the shots up at my mum’s house, I grew up there and my dad’s ashes are there, and it is currently on the market.” It was a beautiful location for an engagement photoshoot with a long winding driveway lined with roses and trees.
When asked what they wanted to remember about the two of them right now as they looked back in the future, the answer was: “this is so unromantic but right now we are working really hard to make a better life for us as a family in the future. Josh works super long hours and then spends the rest of his time renovating our house, while I’m busy back at work too and looking after Summer.”
Well Georgina, we think that working so hard for the love of your family is as romantic as it gets and we hope that your photos hang proudly on your newly renovated (with love) walls!
