My last wedding before Christmas, and I couldn’t have been more excited to see Kate and Krisz early on their wedding day. Ever since their engagement session I knew the wedding day was going to be such fun… Relaxed, loving + happy, and it didn’t disappoint! Having the pleasure of working with such great people on such a beautiful day really cements why I love my job.
Arriving to the girls and hearing lots of laughter was awesome, they were all ready and just chilling, LOVE when peeps are ready ahead of time!! It was so great to see Kate with her veil in and see her father again who I had met at another wedding earlier in the year.
Kate and Krisz were so thoughtful that they got me a gift, I was overwhelmed, so very lovely!! Im a lucky girl!!
I scouted around for where I was going to do all the details, found perfect location, got everything I needed in the one spot, started shooting and could hear happiness, stories and laughter coming from the kitchen, which I just loved!
I headed off to see the guys and it was so great to see Krisz and he was looking super relaxed.
When I arrived back at the girls everyone was looking super lovely, and all ready to help Kate get into her wedding dress. Kate looked absolutely stunning
The beautiful ceremony was held at St Ignatius Church in Norwood.
The bridal party and I headed off up to The Gate House at Glen Ewin Estate. The lovely staff met us on arrival with drinks and snacks for the bridal party and I got to see the super awesome Rita.. Love her!!
Glen Ewin has such a lovely area to take photos, we just had a relaxing walk around and were finished early which meant more drinking and chill time for the bridal party.
I love the how they met story… Here it is from Kate..
“Krisz and I met at my house! It was my housemate’s 30th birthday and we were having a backyard gourmet BBQ. I was in the kitchen preparing meals when in he walked (he was a friend of my housemate’s partner). We didn’t talk to each other until about half way through the night, but when we did, we spent the rest of the evening, and most of the early morning chatting. He asked if he could see me the following weekend and the rest is history!”
Thank you both for making me feel so special and choosing me to capture your first day as husband and wife.
Wishing you both all the love and happiness possible xx
