Wow, what a day to be a Ceduna wedding photographer it was on the 13th of April! I woke up in the morning and new it was going to be an awesome day, hardly any wind and lots of cloud cover.. awesome…

Both Kirby + Dwayne were so relaxed and cruisey the whole time I was with them. I met the guys at the ceremony, down on the lawn at the foreshore, the bay was just looking stunning, the water looking like glass. After the ceremony the bridal party and I headed off to an old shed to start the photos, we had been there for a little while and then next minute we were greeted by a random goat… lol… It was sooo great having so much time with the bridal party, it allows us to go to lots of different locations and be alot more relaxed.

Thank you Kirby + Dwayne for allowing me to share in your wedding… Wishing you both a very happy and healthy life together:) Hope you enjoy your sneak peek…

Rustic Vintage Wedding Photography | Warmington

Rustic Vintage Wedding Photography | Warmington

Wow, to pick just a handful of Todd and Danielle’s rustic and vintage inspired wedding photos was a very hard task, after the second round of picks…. I still had 54 favs! I cant wait to share so many more. Such a gorgeous day, gorgeous couple and gorgeous locations:) It was a tad warm, and just a little (lol, no.. it was a lot) bright for the bridal party, but they all did such a good job dealing with the sun!

Todd and Danielle were married at Pt Sinclair and later the reception was held in a beautiful marquee on the Penong football oval.

Thank you both for allowing me to be part of your wedding day, wishing you all the very best for a future of happiness together xx

Bridal Session Winner…

Bridal Session Winner…

I am so so so EXCITED to announce the winner for the Bridal Session

Thank you to everyone who took the time to enter.
I know that not all of the conditions suited everybody, like the shooting time etc,
so keep your eye out as I could be running something similar in the not too far distant future.

I had way too many entries and all with such great words/stories that I just couldnt pick,
so I left it up to the trusty name picker!

The winner is

CONGRATULATIONS Kendall!

Kendall was married on the 11-11-11

“Our day was rushed and we didnt get the images that focused on my dress that I so wanted.
A Bridal Session would be ideal!”

Below is Kendall’s photo entry:

Kendall and her partner win a Bridal Session and a Leather covered lay flat album with edited image from the session!

I cant wait to do the shoot and share the images with you all. I am so excited!

Adelaide Engagement Photographer | Carissa and Locky sneak peek

Adelaide Engagement Photographer | Carissa and Locky sneak peek

So what is an engagement session? In most cases it is a casual photo shoot with just your partner and me before your wedding day. It is a great way for us to get to know each other better and an easy way to discuss the style of images that you love so that your wedding day images are captured just the way you have always  dreamed of and are perfect!

If you have your session scheduled early after securing your wedding date it is a great opportunity to use these photos as your “save the dates” or as part of your invitations. If there is time, it is great to have your engagement photos form the guest sign in book, so that guests can write messages around the photos and it is an awesome keep sake of both!

To help make these images special, you could pick a location that has some significance to you both. It could be the place where you got engaged or where you went on a first date. It could even be a place that you both love hanging out together like the beach. It is always fun to make the images unique and to show your personality through your pictures.

Another advantage of being photographed prior to you wedding day is the opportunity for the bride to have a test run done of her make up. Set up an appointment with the person doing your make-up for the wedding right before your engagement shoot. This way you will get to see how your makeup will look, not only in the mirror but how it will photograph. If there are adjustments to be made, it will not be too late.

We arent all models, and most of us arent used to be the centre of attention in front of the camera, so to have an engagement session before your wedding day gets you a little more used to being infront of the camera, and lets face it, who doesnt want lovely images with your partner.

Ok so getting back to these images….
I loved this session because Carissa and Locky chose the locations, so they were all new to me, and I just love working in new places and finding the best light.
We had so much fun and had lots of laughs!

I seriously couldn’t pick my favourites from this session and I just wanted to share the whole shoot, so I have restrained myself to just sharing Carissa’s favourites! (Thanks for making the hard decisions for me hehehe) And then the dilemma of sharing black and white images or colour images…
Anyway stop procrastinating Jade! Ok so here they are, enjoy…

I hope you both have an amazing wedding day… xx

Streaky Bay Wedding – Mrs Pixie Moses

Saturday I had the privilege of travelling to Streaky Bay to photograph
the wedding of Pixie and Cal Moses.

As they eloped, I was waiting for them to share the great news with family and friends, before I shared any images.

Thanks Pixie and Cal for allowing me to be part of your special day!

Here is a little sneak peak…
