The advantage of being a photographer is that you can do your job all over the world, and the effort you make in travelling is rewarded with endless opportunities to challenge your skills. New scenery, new backdrops, and new subjects will test amateurs, but bring out the best in great photographers.
As a wedding photographer who is willing to go the distance, Jade Norwood has risen to and above this challenge, capturing precious memories for each of her clients in their cherished locations. Most recently, Adelaide weddings have been filling the diary of this Eyre Peninsula wedding photographer, and she couldn’t be happier with the opportunities.
“My favourite Adelaide wedding locations so far… Oh my gosh… its so hard for me to choose because each location has its pros and cons! Ummm I will go with the K1 Winery in McLaren Vale. My mind wouldn’t stop, it was just constantly going over where we could move to next for the perfect shot,” said Jade. “But most importantly, where we were was really meaningful to my Bride and Groom, and that made the photos all the more special.”
As a Bride in regional South Australia choosing to have her wedding in Adelaide, finding an Adelaide wedding photographer can prove to be a nightmare. This is the Bride’s advantage in falling in love with a travelling photographer – they’ll go where you ask them to, be close by for any pre-wedding meetings, and like Jade, they are ready to bring out the best in the location that means so much to you and your wedding day.
“I’ve done weddings in the city and through many locations arounds Adelaide, but doing a wedding in the Clare Valley would be a dream – a mix of farming properties, vineyards and beautiful old churches give the ideal backdrop for that ‘wow’ wedding photo. Having an outdoor reception with lots of unique vintage details and gorgeous lighting would just be awesome.”
Adelaide Brides aren’t stuck with Adelaide wedding photographers either; “Your wedding photos should be exactly what you dream of – a true reflection of how you view your day, don’t restrict yourself to a search inside your immediate area. Like me, a lot of regional wedding photographers are just waiting for the opportunity to travel to a new location where they can capture something amazing.”
So don’t write off your favourite photographer because of a bit of distance – give them a call. You never know, it could be the start of a beautiful long distance relationship!
