It was the same morals and goals in life that connected Kerrie and Jacob, knowing that family was important to them both is a big key to their relationship. They believe now that their strength and close bond is what they want to remember years from now, and they were so happy together, it was infectious. We had an absolute hoot, so much fun and omg one word… Magpie!
I first meet them at their place and then we headed out of town in two separate cars as after the shoot Jacob was heading off to his bucks weekend… (I hope you had a great time Jacob and didn’t come off to worse for wear). I was lucky enough to meet Jacob’s Mum, and took the opportunity to take some photos around her home, and wow she has an amazing garden, and some awesome aqua pieces that I may have wanted to walk off with.. hehehe. We started heading off to the beach, and as I do, yelled out stop! We went past this spot I thought would be amazing, well the light was great… but… a magpie wasn’t happy with my presence and started swooping on me – it definitely made for natural laughter in their photos!
“Christmas Eve, my family were all giving him a hard time about the fact there was no ring on my finger. But they all weren’t to know he had already bought the ring weeks earlier and was planning a proposal. He surprised us all (Christmas morning). He chose the ring alone after a bit of research! (It is) Amazing, a perfect choice.”
Kerrie and Jacob love to take the boat up the coast to Venus Bay, which is a special place for them both – and they LOVE the beach. Kerrie says ‘fishing brings out our competitive natures!’. Well as they say, a couple that plays together, stays together! Of course when ever they go to the beach they have their dogs on board, another great love of theirs – their German shepherds who may also make a wedding appearance.
The date has definitely snuck up on us, this weekend I will be lucky enough to be there on their wedding day. I’m soooo looking forward to seeing them again, and the moment that they promise their lives to one and other. xx
