I shared the beginning of Nat and Jace’s wedding story, but there was much more to their 3 day celebration than one wedding blog post could handle. Here is part 2 of my time with Natalie and Jace Bode.
When we set off for bridal party photos after their beautiful ceremony there were lots of laughs to be had! There was some role swapping in the bridal party, pants down party tricks, drinks poured but also some tender moments between the new husband and wife that I was able to capture. The bride and groom had chosen Waverley Estate as their wedding venue because of its rustic charm and the opportunity to have an outdoor wedding ceremony. We got to play up the features of the picturesque venue and the charm of Waverley Estate in their wedding photos, and I am so pleased with how they turned out.
The laughs continued at the reception; everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves immensely, and how could they not with the greatest bridal dance I have ever seen. With a mash up of songs including Single Ladies and Bye Bye Bye, Nat and Jace danced their well choreographed number to the delight of the crowd, while I was laughing behind the camera snapping away, Kim had the video covered! I have a great time watching that dance again and again. The cupcakes made their appearance at the reception on a table covered with sweets and a wedding cake befit of their stylish rustic day.
There is still ongoing debate about the boys being better than the girls all day, but I will leave that between the bridal party! It was such a relaxed and beautiful wedding day which Nat credits to the Wedding Coordinator, Libby Matson. “I didn’t want to be stressed or have any family stressed on the day so I hired a fantastic wedding planner – who was my saviour – Libby Matson. Our wedding would not of had the relaxed feel without her, I am very grateful for how much she did before and on the day for us so that our wedding was seamless. We also wanted to have our family and friends involved in our wedding where we could. This made our wedding even more special having the people we love help make our wedding perfect.” It probably also helped that Nat’s parents own a Newsagency “so I had access to every bridal magazine!”
I don’t think I have ever laughed so hard during the speeches either, so many super funny stories shared. Jace was so sincere and heartfelt in his speech to Nat it was just gorgeous. I love when a bloke can pull out that honest emotion.
What a blessing it was to have been a part of this wedding, and at a gorgeous new venue to add to my wedding reception locations– Waverley Estate. I am so thankful that I was given this opportunity, and would like to wish Nat and Jace all the very best for their future as Mr and Mrs Bode.
